Formerly brick flats originally constructed in 1904 and home to many of Duluth's merchants, these homes were transformed in 2003 as "Renaissance at East Hillside". The original façade was retained as well as many of the historical features including leaded glass windows, high ceilings and tiled fireplaces (now decorative rather than functional).
